Christopher Hill Executive Director Christopher Hill was awarded his PhD in January 2006 from the University of Nottingham. Christopher's doctoral thesis analysed the role of elite actors within the Spanish transition to democracy and focused on the relationship between the individual and the institution. Having obtained a BA (Hons) in Classical Civilization and an MA in International Relations from The University of Nottingham, Christopher is currently a Teaching Fellow and has taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. In addition to teaching, Christopher is developing research into the role of elites and the nature of democratic development. Christopher is bilingual in English and Spanish and speaks competent French. 

Martin Adjei-Mensah Country Director Martin Adjei-Mensah completed his postgraduate degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2007. Martin’s thesis analyzed foreign investment and Ghana’s development agenda. He obtained his first degree (B.A Hons.) in Political Science at the University of Ghana, Legon. Prior to the inception of Agora Ghana, Martin had served in various public service roles in Ghana and in the area of youth leadership. He has been a key advocate for youth development and empowerment. 

Kwesi Amponsah Tawiah Operations Director Kwesi Amponsah Tawiah is a PhD candidate at the institute of Work Health Organization (I-WHO), University of Nottingham. He received both his B.A and M.phil in Psychology and Industrial Organizational Psychology respectively at the University of Ghana, Legon. Prior to commencing his PhD, Kwesi had taught at the University of Ghana Business School as a graduate assistant and conducted several research works for a number of organizations in Ghana. Kwesi has been involved in youth leadership roles and policy making at various stages of his education. 

Akwasi Oppong Boateng International Liaison Officer Akwasi Oppong Boateng graduated from the college of Arts; Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Kumasi-Ghana, for his first degree in 2005.Akwasi has been engaged in private consultancy work and also volunteered training for skill acquisition for youth in several Ghanaian rural communities to help them become self sufficient.
